Proton-Electrotex was established in 1996 as a Power Semiconductor Development and Manufacturing Company.  Our manufacturing capability was built with a long term view. As a result, after 10 years of consistent growth, we are still capable of and are expanding our manufacturing capacity according to market demand and our own growth plans.

At the outset, our objective was to achieve a dominant market position in the East European and Central European markets, which we accomplished with better then expected results. In the countries of the former Soviet Union we hold a virtual monopoly. In the Central European markets our position is not as dramatically dominant, but quite substantial.

About seven years ago we have entered West European and US markets and are making great strides in penetrating them. As a result, we currently serve over 300 customers in these markets and are growing rapidly.

While in Eastern and Central Europe our sales/marketing model is build on “direct” sales, the model we had chosen for the Western markets is based on sales through an expanding network of Independent Sales Representative – partners.

The size of our semiconductor manufacturing facility is in excess of 3000 sq. meters and we employ over 350 highly skilled and motivated personnel.
